My wife has a Shodō (Japanese calligraphy) test coming up soon and has been busy practicing. I got a new lens yesterday, and thought I would test it.
Camera: Canon Kiss X4 (aka 550D / t2i)
Lens: Tokina AF 35mm f/2.8 AT-X Pro DX
Custom Picture Style: CineLook
Audio: Brontide / tenbytwobyfour
Other: Magic Lantern installed
I imported the footage directly into FCPX, and used Alex4D Widescreen Matte to get the 2.35 ratio. I then used QuickTime Pro 7 to crop out the letterbox. No colour correction or grading.
I need to find a way to stabilise the footage better as I feel it is too shaky, especially during close-ups.
I am an amateur, so I would love to hear any constructive feedback to help improve.
Thanks for watching.
