My brother approached me several months ago asking about creating a motion graphics video to promote an app two of his clients were developing. The iOS application being developed (adhd-app.com) serves to use familiar and accessible technology to better treat Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. I thought it was a great idea and quickly came on board as motion graphics animator for the video.
It's a big undertaking, and required a lot of learning and workarounds, but in the end I produced something I'm pretty proud of. I got to know After Effects a lot better throughout this too. We're good friends now, we know each other's darkest secrets. Anyway. It was a learning experience and I'm glad I had the opportunity to do it. I hope you enjoy the video, and I hope to make more of these in the very near future.
This video is the product of dozens of iterations and hours of work, planning, writing, brainstorming, filming, and troubleshooting. Such is the process of motion graphics.
