There are many ways of being funny. You can play with words. You can improvise in life situations. You can make fun of yourself, be self-deprecating or be surreal. I like for example sarcatic sense of humor. There is also the way of being so stupid that it's funny. Your sense of humor is based on your past experiences. You laugh and make jokes that reflect your emotions. But in advertising the line is really thin and you have to be careful. It should be adapted to the targeted group of people in such a way as not to offend anyone. Whitch will never 100% do. So if you can't laugh at yourself, the problem may be with you, not with the joke.
Anyway in this commercial we wanted to show a place and its products through this clumsy character. He doesn't fit there at all and makes fun of himself. If he made you smile even for one second, our job here is done.
