As World War II came to an end, developers worked furiously to produce enough housing for Dallas’s exploding population. It was in this climate that Angus Wynne, Jr. fought to realize his dream: a groundbreaking, high-design “city within the city” that combined single family homes, apartments, and a retail core. More than 65 years later, Wynnewood North retains its unique combination of amenities that have maintained their character through the years.
Neighborhood Stories: Wynnewood North was filmed in Spring 2013 and first screened in the community on May 11, 2013. For photos from the event, please visit: bcworkshop.org/bcW/neighborhood-stories-wynnewood-north/
