Updated edit with new driving footage, tightened up the open, swapped a few clips, added letterbox and did a new grade.
We took the Black Magic Cinema Camera with us on our trip to California in April. We were there to shoot a project, but wanted to capture the experience along the way. We traveled from San DIego up the Pacific Coast Highway to Santa Cruz and then cut over to Tahoe for a few days. It was an awesome trip and as always we wish we had more time to shoot for ourselves. We loved working with the camera so much we pre-ordered the 4K version as soon as we got home. We will be uploading a few more videos from the trip in the coming weeks, so check back with us soon!
All of the footage was shot in prores, graded in Resolve (lite) and edited in Premiere CS6. We had a basic set up for the shoot (you can see it in the pictures in the bottom right of this page). All in all we loved working with the BMCC and look forward to shooting with it again in the future.
