On Saturday 20th April 2013, I took part in a charity skydive for Bowel Cancer UK with the charity's CEO; Deborah Alsina. The skydive was part of a long string of fundraising I've been doing in memory of my friend James, who lost his life to bowel cancer 2 years ago, at the age of just 28.
Deborah is the awesome women in the plane with me and is on a mission to raise £50,000 during 2013 as part of Bowel Cancer UK's Never2Young campaign. She's an absolute inspiration and taking part in this challenge with her was a truly amazing experience.
The skydive itself was both amazing and plain weird! It confirmed to me that there is a good reason that humans don't have wings!
