Caruso Affiliated, a Los Angeles-based real estate firm which is known for creating state-of-the-art "town centers" such as The Grove in Los Angeles, retained Imprenta to help generate public support, particularly among Arcadia residents for a proposed development project in Arcadia adjacent to Santa Anita Race Track.
Imprenta developed a comprehensive marketing, communications, and community relations plan consisting of collateral development, direct mail, special events, community relations, grassroots campaign/canvassing, advertising and earned media in both English and Chinese. Imprenta also developed print, television, and radio commercials which touted the many benefits of the proposed development project. Additionally, Imprenta organized dozens of public and media events to communicate directly with residents.
Imprenta played an integral role in the success of the campaign and helped accomplish the main goal of winning unanimous support from the Arcadia Planning City Council, unanimous support from the Arcadia City Council, and overwhelming support of the APA community. All of this was obtained despite the fact that our opposition had its own team of communications and public affairs consultants specifically working against us at every turn.
The results of this campaign were so impressive that Imprenta won an "Award of Excellence for Multicultural Communications" from the Public Relations Society of America.
