Trailer for my feature-length documentary Golden Days. The film follows the Brooklyn-based indie rock band The Damnwells as they record their first "professional" album for Epic Records and the fallout that came with signing that deal. The film premiered at the 2007 Phoenix Film Festival where it won the award for Best Documentary. It went on to play nearly 20 Top North American and International Film and Music Festivals including Vail, Big Sky, Waterfront and the Sheffield Doc/Fest. Film Threat gave it 4 Stars and Harp Magazine called it "a fascinating glimpse into the fabled but ubiquitous major label hell."
Logline: A struggling indie rock band signs a major record deal only to have their album and their career nearly destroyed by the people who signed them.
