All of us as humans are reliant on our senses in our daily lives, but how reliant are our senses on each other? Things like sight and sound, taste and smell, or touch and sight used together create a collage of sensory information. Take the sound of flowing water and someone running for example, without a visual indicator your sense of hearing does not know how to perceive it. Is the person in trouble? Are they running from something? Or are they out for a jog by a creek? Only when your senses work in conjunction can you start to perceive the overall picture.
