In 2005, Dr. Cecil completed his specialty credentials in Avian Medicine and joined the Pet Emergency & Specialty Center in La Mesa to spearhead the opening of its new Avian and Exotic Service. Dr. Cecil is an HRS partner, providing spay/neuter and medical services to rescued rabbits throughout San Diego County. He also is the personal vet of many HRS volunteers and supporters.
