Nature Over Taking Man-Made Objects Nature Over Taking Nature
I grew up in the boonies of Brattleboro, Vermont where nature engulfs itself; I am surrounded by woods and the animals that inhabit it. I've always been fascinated with abandon, desolate areas, and how in those areas nature has taken back the land that is rightfully theirs. I also find it interesting how nature can override itself with weeds and other dominating plants.
In my images I hope to describe nature over taking man-made objects, as well as nature over taking itself. The city is a place controlled by man – masses of concrete stacked on top of concrete, stacked on top of more concrete. We live in a world of technology and grey matter. In my images I want to show that although nature may seem delicate, it can make even the most solid steel seem brittle. Nature is nothing to mess with.
