Where does your seafood come from?
Cold water near the Arctic circle in the Bering Sea is home to a species of crab that pours into virtually every seafood restaurant and seafood buffet in the United States.
Like any other food source, it must first be harvested. This is the reality of harvesting food from 1000 feet under ice oceans.
This short video shows the dangers and tough conditions fought daily while working the world's most dangerous job.
Shot entirely by @travisarket while working as a deckhand on board a Bering Sea crab boat. The challenges faced with equipment, fatigue, concentration, motivation and sleep deprivation are incredible.
