This is a timelapse of Interchange: We're Afraid of Red, Yellow and Blue, the collaboration of two artist's, Polly Hollyoak and Naomi Nicholls. The work questions notions of authorship and challenges the interaction of the artists’ individual practices. The constraints applied to this project included a working method where each artist added to the composition in rotation. Using primary colours as a focus and allowing one additional element per turn, the work unfolded across the wall and floor.
Exhibited at Seventh Gallery, Fitzroy.
Supported by RMIT.
