Love is a beautiful thing and you never have control over it. It makes you smile and makes you feel alive.
It was just a simple move. Guillan’s relative gave him the cell phone number of Mylene. That was the start of their never ending love story. Truly, love can begins with just one “hello” or “hi”. Maybe, everyone should try it; you’ll never know what will happen next. Since that day, they were exchanging messages and took time to know each other. Then one day, they decided to meet in person. Right after that first meeting, Guillan fell in love to Mylene. He begins to court her and in the long run, by June 16, 2008, Mylene gave her sweet “yes”. They have cherished every moment. They celebrate life with each other.
After five months of lovely relationship they both decided to have their civil wedding. They were very happy and feel blessed especially when God gave them a son named Jarred. After 4 years, exactly the same date of their civil wedding, they were having a dinner with their family at Fujairah. Guillan surprised Mylene by a proposal saying “Will you marry me?” It was unexpected moment for Mylene, even though she immediately says “I do.”For Mylene, she was already satisfied and feels grateful that Guillan proved his love when they decided to have a civil wedding. But this time, it was a church wedding. Guillan have told Mylene that it is better if their relationship will be blessed by God.
The officiating priest welcomes the couple and told that they have proved to God that they want a marriage to be strong and a life full of blessing by accepting the sacrament of the holy matrimony. The groom then gives his vows nervously but able to relay how happy he was when he met her. Mylene then promised that she will be a faithful one and always there to give encouragement to his husband. This is a promise of today, tomorrow and forever.
