I wanted to get a few clips of test footage today using the Lensse Steadicam. We have a trip planned this summer to Crested Butte Colorado, and we would like to document this trip with some good footage. Chief and I went out and rode Pemberton trail in McDowell Mountain Park. We took a few breaks from the flowy 1-track and pulled out the Steadicam. I wanted to see how difficult it was to set up on the fly. While it took a few minutes to setup and balance, the overall experience was positive. The Steadicam was small enough to fit in my Camelback, and fairly easy to access. There is a slight learning curve, and I need to get some more experience with the Steadicam to control the camera better.
I'm pretty sure that this accessory will get some use from us.
