Theme Music: "Fly Away" by Pomplamoose
This is a clearly quite fake opening title sequence for a fake series I've been working on. I must re-iterate that I WAS REALLY FRAKKING BORED on Memorial Day week!
The fake details of it are:
WEEKENDS WITH KATHERINE
An irreverently written dark dramady centering around a "freelancer" and her bizarre cadre of accomp -- acquaintances who operate out of a cafe and are assigned jobs of a high octane nature by a mysterious online personality.

and Featuring Sigourney Weaver as Katherine
Audrey Tam Greeley, otherwise known as just Tam, is a "Freelancer" who spends most of her downtime with her time travelling friends in the Crystal Carafe, a temporally displaced coffee and tea bar, which is often the subject of hostage situations, public kidnappings, bomb threats and explosions.
Every Saturday, she and her friends eagerly await the latest communication from the mysterious "Katherine" via Skype who, in Charlie's Angels fashion, assigns them missions which they must complete usually within the span of the weekend. The rest of Tam's gang are comprised of: childhood friend and alternate universe self Tamara, Tam's flaky "boyfriend-thing" Liam, Simon, a wise and mysterious older barista, and Sara, an recurring time traveler who appears randomly to extract Tam and her friends from precarious situations. It is implied that Sarah is an alternate universe incarnation of Tam.
While the gangs episodic gallivants comprise the core of the series, the questions still beg -- who exactly is Katherine anyway and what is causing the often bizarre scenarios which the gang must diffuse? The running theory is that there is a tear in the "temporal ozone layer" which is allowing time to leak into random "timestreams", and is screwing things up. As long as they continue to get paid by their mysterious employer though, no one in the gang really seems to care very much, and is content to solve one case after the other, amidst their own blasé personal problems.
There you have it. :)
