Tuesday 1 Feb saw the launch of four new podcasts - artist-led collaborative projects created with students on the Contemporary Performance Practice and Transitions programmes at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
These projects ran from June - September 2021 and were supported by the William Grant Foundation, a non-profit association established to support charitable causes in Scotland. Its work is funded by William Grant and Sons Ltd.
Hear more about the Podcast Project from Jesse Paul, Fair Access Manager and Dr Laura Bissell, Interim Head of Contemporary Performance Practice, who also revealed future plans for the project.
We worked with artists Graeme Roger and Dave Martin; Sarah Wishart; Janice Parker and Matthew Arthur Williams. Graeme, Sarah and Janice joined us to discuss the inspiration for their Podcasts, before hearing a short extract from each. The event concluded with a Creative Conversation involving the artists, facilitated by Dr Laura Bissell.
