Our aim with this flashmob was to create an interactive experience for our audience. We felt this was not only a much more effective way of raising awareness for the Know Your Odds campaign by creating an open dialogue, but it allowed the audience to invest in the performance, literally. The longevity of the installation also meant we were able to reach a larger audience. Finally, we felt that the material was easily accessible to all people regardless of their knowledge of dance as opposed to a performance that utilised purely abstract choreography.
