It was late February and Cleveland had seen grey sky for three months. Two days after knee surgery I was heavily medicated , looked out the window and saw the sun peeking out. I hobbled down the street to the park on crutches and took these photos of nature encased in ice, everything looked like it was encased in glass!!! I immediately did a cut and paste of three piano pieces ( with kind permission of the artist ) by the late Mark "Moogy" Klingman, one ( the ending ) was his composition Conquering of the West which was later adopted into The Ikon when Moogy played in Todd Rundgren's Utopia. It seemed to me that in the darkest of days, if you look, you could find some beautiful light shining all around you. And it was true , for me, for Moogy , who loved this and the many fans who came to know his music by the videos I put together when he was ill. It made him very happy, and many who viewed it felt the same. I hope you do too!
