We are on the 50th day of a planned 6 months trip through the United States. This short video is focussing on our travel to and through Death Valley. The difference of temperature between the Mountains of the Sierra and the very dry climate of the Panamint ranges and valleys was striking. No time to adapt. Within a few days we went from water bottles freezing at night on Tioga road to fresh water turning into hot water within 30 minutes in Death Valley. Temperatures are 45 celcius in the day and 30 degrees at night. PS bring lots of water and drink it even if it is hot. the body needs it!
Footage shot with GoPro Hero 2 and Canon 60D.
