Overall aims - Each year Doosan take on several hundred welders in preparation for the outage season at nuclear power stations, other power stations, and the petrochemical industries. They all have to be inducted and assessed before being accepted.
Part of the induction process is a training film followed by a short paper based assessment.
The film reinforces to candidates that they are recognised as being near the top of their trade and that acceptance onto the Doosan team will put them at the top and they will be acknowledged as such on
sites across the world and across industries.
The film supports the company culture of producing work of the highest quality, consistently and at the first attempt. It is about achieving and maintaining excellent standards of work. The theme is - get it right first time.
