A stop-motion story of my creative process, told via one strange former deer. For my Think Tank class at OCAD, taught by Robin Uchida.
This film (minus the time taken to create the puppets/props/set) was done within a 12hr period and is meant as a series of technical experiments, hence the slightly choppy animation in the outdoor sequences!
First segment features paper puppets/props painted by me and was filmed in my studio. Second segment features the Once-Deer, a hand-sewn and embroidered articulated puppet (also by me) and was filmed in a ravine.
