A behind the scenes look at a collaborative expedition with Colin Legg to time lapse the Annular Solar Eclipse of 10th May, 2013 from the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
This clip shows some of the scouting and preparation trips, as well as some "bonus footage" from extra cameras that were setup.
Telephoto sequences taken with a Canon 1DC + C8 telescope (2032 mm). People timelapses taken with the GoPro Hero2 shooting at 1 fps, with playback speed varying (but is typically 24 fps). Realtime video segments shot with the Canon Powershot S100 and Canon IXUS 220HS.
