Laurie Drew is a Costume Designer based in Toronto with 25 years of Series Television, MOW, and Film experience.
Laurie sunk her teeth into series work when she started designing the costumes on La Femme Nikita. Laurie worked on the show for its entire 5 season run. She received Gemini Award nominations in 1997, 1998, 1999, and 2000. She won Best Costume Design for her work on the show in 1998.
In 2007 Laurie was hired as the Costume Designer on CBS/CTV's crime drama series Flashpoint. Laurie became an integral part of the Flashpoint team that went on to win numerous Gemini awards. Laurie continued to dress the cast for each season, recently wrapping after a successful five season run in 2012.
Her Feature and MOW experience includes Choices of the Heart: The Margaret Sanger Story, a period piece circa 1914 starring Henry Czerny and Dana Delaney, earning her a 1995 Gemini Award Nomination and Cable Ace Award Nomination.
Laurie recently concluded Season 1 of the critically acclaimed sci-fi drama, Orphan Black for BBC America/Space TV. Laurie is represented by Charlotte Rose of Green Light Artist Management.
