They are called Pony Kids. That’s the nickname for all these children or teenagers who live in the suburbs of Dublin and raise horses as they can in the middle of an urban area. In bareback piebald ponies they ride on streets, public squares, sidewalks around the city. Until the 1980s, their families were traveling people. They took leave of her vagabond life, but not of their ponies. So the origin and undemanding animals were tethered in the dim green between the skyscrapers or in public parks, some took his piebald also in the apartment! This documentary reveals moving stories on a social phenomenon.
