A short selection of shots from director Derrick Ryan Claude Mitchell's presentation of Christopher Burden's SHOOT, Nearly Nearly Invisible and Paradisiacal Rites.
SHOOT was re-performed at Dawn on May 19th. Mitchell was shot with a .22 caliber rifle, before walking 10 miles to Pioneer Square where he performed Nearly Nearly Invisible. Nearly Nearly Invisible consisted of a ritual leeching and wine drinking process, supported by a series of bands in Seattle's historic Pioneer Square. Mitchell then walked 5 miles to On The Boards where his opera Paradisiacal Rites was finishing its United States Premiere.
