Old World Shoes is a documentary project by Henry VanderSpek that celebrates older and independent shoe and shoe repair stores of Toronto.
This video - an online talk held in conjunction with the 2022 DesignTO Festival - features three talented shoe makers and/or designers, who each share their inspiration, craft and process. They are, in order: Emmanuel Farré of Farré by Emmanuel, Jennifer Allison of Art & Sole Academy, and Peter Feeney of Peter Feeney of Peter Feeney Bespoke Footwear.
