I did the edit for $300 and then the color grade for $300. For the color grade, I advised them to hire a professional studio with faster rendering and calibrated monitors etc but they didn't want to spend the money. So, I did the best I could with the set up that I have. I used the RGB levels in Final Cut Pro on a MacBook Pro 2.53 i5.
None of the original shots matched since the actor and the actress were shot during different times of the day and it was apparent that the lighting in the studio had changed. Even the sofa looked like two different shades of the same brown between shots.
I actually see one shot that obviously has more red in it than the rest of it, right now. If I had a faster system I would not hesitate to go back and adjust it. lol.
