She works with startups assisting them in deploying LAMP stack on Open Solaris, enhancing application scalability and performance, overall architectural advancements, and best practices around building social networking applications. She also presents, hosts, and participates at various community events and covers various topics including PHP, RoR, MySQL, Glassfish, Cloud Computing, OpenSolaris, Open Storage, and Java. In the past she worked with strategic Sun partners as well as fortune 500 customers.
Bob Sutterfield is a senior IT leader, focusing on very large scale service delivery operations. He has led engineering programs and interdisciplinary teams at Google, Tellme and CheapTickets. He builds the technologies, processes, and teams for revenue-facing production services, where users expect high availability and performance, and businesses demand low drama and cost. He currently consults with Silicon Valley firms who are launching into the Clouds, and drives IT best practices into international non-profits.
