We are very happy to share with you that one of the best-selling pieces by Brazilian designer Tati Guimarães, founder of Ciclus, has made it big!
BAKUS, a collector of best memories and wine corks that transforms into a trivet, was selected by MoMA, The Museum of Modern Art of New York, to be distributed worldwide and exclusively by the prestigious Museum.
BAKUS trivet reached stores on May 13th, alongside the NYC Design Week.
It has been sold in its own design stores in New York and Tokyo as well as in independent stores in North and Central America, Europe and the Far East. Designed and produced in Barcelona, Spain, BAKUS won the unanimous approval of a highly selective committee at the MoMA after being released during the Salone Satellite 2012, in Milan, , Italy.
The MoMA logo appears alongside the name of Tati Guimarães on the BAKUS product and on its innovative packaging, also created by the designer.
The text of the packaging talks about the Bakus concept and also the design phylosophy of Tati and Ciclus, her design studio.
