As a part of the 2013 Selected Works, Theatre Works and Sassy Red Productions present:
A Stuck Pigs Squealing production
By Kit Brookman
You’re already lost. What’s a bit further?
Tom abandons his sister Sasha by the side of the road. She plunges headlong into the night.
Her search for him takes her to a park, an alleyway, a riverbank - even to the far reaches of Siberia. As she hunts him down, Sasha peels back the layers of their shifting relationship; past the unreliability of gender, sexuality and both their bodies. But as Sasha discovers, looking in someone’s true face means you might have to see your own...
Stuck Pigs Squealing has a nationally and internationally recognised reputation for creating exceptional theatre, and memorable experiences for audiences. The latest work from this acclaimed theatre company, night maybe is a funny, vicious and disturbing free-fall through the subconscious.
“The company is not interested in conventional, neatly packaged plays but in high-spirited, raw and poetic works that explore human nature at its most difficult, comical and depraved.” (Sydney Morning Herald)
