The endangered Francois' Langur is one of PRCF Vietnam’s flagship species. We have been working to protect the few remaining langurs living in the isolated limestone karst forest of Lam Binh province, near the border with China.
In early 2012 Joel Lawrence Holzman, anthropologist, wildlife photographer and videographer, offered to produce a documentary film pro bono to raise awareness about the langurs and our efforts to protect their habitat. Joel spent three months at Lam Binh with our team to work on this documentary, and we are very pleased with the results.
