This 720p version was created by converting the 1080p version to... eh, 720p. :)
For more info about which software I used and what settings I setup to create the mix, check below...
The story behind this videomix...
OK, my first VIDEOyearmix was a "test" to look if I'm able to do one and how much work it would actually take.
So, since it was a test, I didn't put much effort to get me HD videos so this videomix was done in 480p.
Anyway, creating one was a lot of fun!
And then I was doing another videomix (yearmix 2010) and another one (yearmix 2009). This feels great!
It's January 2013 and I did a 1080p HD videomix of my 2013 audio yearmix.
Let's go and redo VIDEOyearmix 2011 but now in a whopping 1080p. And I did it. I redid the mix entirely.
Where what to setup and why...
The videomix was created using MAGIX Video Pro X3.
The 1080p MP4 was exported using the following settings:
MPEG4 Export (MP4):
Video: 1920x1080 ; 25.00 Frames/s; H.264 (2-Pass mode) 19999 kbit/s
Audio: 44100 Hz; Stereo; AAC
A bunch of additional settings... e.g. AVC preset: Blu-ray HD
The music videos were leeched from YouTube using Foxreal YouTube FLV Downloader Pro.
All bits and pieces of video were grabbed using Bigasoft FLV Converter.
The settings used in Bigasoft FLV Converter were:
- HD H.264/MPEG-4 AVC Video mp4
- Video size : 1920x1080
- Video Quality : Highest
- Video Bitrate : 12000
- Frame Rate : 25
- Same Quality : True
- level : 40
