Now more than ever, it should be clear that Internet Freedom is a basic human right. The 19th Freedom campaign celebrates commemorates two major events in human rights history. On june 19th, 1865 slaves in the deep south of the United States were finally given information about their freedoms granted by the Emancipation Proclamation over 2 years earlier! In addition, the 19th Article of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights adopted in 1948 guaranteed all people with the right to seek and impart information through "any media, regardless of frontiers.
Good of All is a 501c(3) Non-profit organization dedicated to the worldwide education, promotion and adoption of these basic human rights. The 19th Freedom campaign is your opportunity to stand up and let people know that the Internet, the most powerful medium in the history of the word, should not be limited in terms of access, content, or user privacy. Please go to GoodOfAll.org/19thfreedom and sign the petition today.
