Anyone living in Hyde Park, Leeds knows the name Pat Regan.
Pat Regan wasn't just a mother against violence; she was THE mother against violence.
A mother, an auntie and a friend to most people that met her through her tireless work in schools and youth groups. Pat was a community activist; a leading light in the battle against gun and knife crime. She travelled the length and breadth of the country on her own mission; to talk to young people about her own experience of gang culture and the pain of losing her son Danny.
Sadly Pat is no longer with us, but she did leave us with this wonderfully honest and candid portrait of who she was. The film follows Pat to 10 Downing Street to meet with Tony Blair and other senior decision makers whilst attending a national gun crime summit.
This is Pat Regan. From her heart. In her own words.
