A whimsical glimpse into one of my favorite natural gems here in S. Florida, The Nature Conservancy's "Blowing Rocks Preserve" in Jupiter, FL. A barrier island protected for its natural beauty and its distinctive Anastasia limestone shoreline, the largest on the US Atlantic coast. During extreme high tide and after storms, seas break against the rocks and force plumes of saltwater up to 50 feet skyward. I shot this iphone video the first clear day after Hurricane Sandy passed through our Paradise. I knew Blowing Rocks would be going off!!
