Guatemalan villagers drink contaminated water, sometimes sharing the same stream with diseased animals.
Access to this water is available by hiking 2–3 kilometers down steep ravines, coming back up with 5 gallons of water on their head.
In consolidation with Guatemalans who hike for water, we are going to hike volcanoes and mountains, 5 in total, during this campaign. This video is from our first hike up Volcano Acatenango. Join us with your own hike in the States! Post a picture of the hike on Facebook and get your people to make a Hike for Water pledge.
Donate $35 for every hike you do, and invite 10 other people to do the same. Each donation provides one filter for a family, giving them the chance to change unclean water into safe water. Learn more at http://www.ecofiltro.org/hikeforwater
