this is some tests I made before working on The Crew E3 Trailer for Ubisoft.
At that time, I didn't know in details what it was about. This is training for going back to 3dsmax (was doing houdini just before) and explore some stuff I never used before (naiad, SC deforms and Hfragmenter).
The car "rig" stuff on the video was for exploring a way with Hfragmenter to get a car I could animate globally with key frame(with some dynamic constraits for wheels , doors...), send to full dynamic SC at a time, and keeping possibility to destroy some of the parts like glass with procedural fragmentation.
Hfragm is nice control to have, but it can take some time to setup simple things and isn't intuitive at all.
I didn't used it on the prod because every car was already animated.

I did only FX on the 2 car crashes (cops at 01:26 and little truck at 02:30) and some additional stuff.
