This is always a special time of year in the conservatory with my Cactus plants, they exude a heady perfume at the same time being so delicate, in any degree of heat they only last a few hours. Due to the cool weather, some have lasted almost 24 hours or more, with two varieties coming out within the space of a few days. So here is my latest attempt at catching the Cactus in the conservatory unfolding. There are approx 388 photos in this composition taken every 3 minutes. The frame rate uploaded ended up as 30fps and for smoother HD should really be 24fps. I will work this out eventually! This time I used my new Canon EOS 700D which I am still mastering having had it only 3 weeks. I really need to find a battery grip for this kind of work, but seem to be having a lot of trouble sourcing one probably because it's such a new model. Please feel free to comment, we are all here to learn :-)
