A milestone past project conceived by Steve Tice, V.P. e-Vehicle products for powersports products manufacturer MotoVox.com, then managed by Steve in his parallel role as COO co-founder of the EVDrive. The EVDrive team engineered and built the technology demonstrator shown in the video.
There are NO current production models, and there are NO UTVs either gas/diesel powered, PHEV (gas-powered REX) or all-electric, that come close to this vehicle in terms of multi-function, economy to operate (fuel consumption), range and performance.
Except perhaps one - Nikola Motors was inspired to build their milestone "NZT UTV" electric AWD UTV by this tech demonstrator (partly resulted in hiring EVDrive to design and engineer their AWD 6x6 Series PHEV gas-turbine REX powered semi-truck prototype.) The UTV they have built is a game-changer and it is being tested by the military for their operations.
- Unlike gas powered UTVs, this category of high performance plug-in hybrid e-UTV can be applied to multiple sub-markets of the UTV market as a whole, that is; these types of high performance e-UTVs will offer significant value for the:
- sports/recreation customer,
- hunter/camping off-road explorer,
- sports/recreation customer, also for the
- military/law enforcement/ ranger/government customers

re: Plug-in hybrid or "Series PHEV" capability IS not demonstrated in this video - the Range Extender sub-system is not installed in this demonstrator - a computer controlled single-cylinder gas powered 15kW powered optimized high voltage generator a.k.a. REX (range extender).
re: Current Noise of vehicle: Straight cut gears are used in prototype ONLY and that is what creates a majority of the current noise - those used in motorcycles today, such as helical cut, would be used in a production versions.
