I'm Still Down Here is a short film pilot for the first episode of The Center, written by Berlin-based Namibian writer and actress, Naomi Beukes-Meyer. The concept for The Center is based on events experienced by the writer since she arrived in Germany 25 years ago. The urge to relate these experiences through film is as a result of fact that many of the problems encountered by the patrons of the fictional Center, are problems still being faced by young people in the cities of Germany today.
I'm Still Down Here was Directed by Naomi Beukes-Meyer and Eddy Ballardi.
