This video records the Beginning Teen Astronomy Camp's 10-minute question and answer session with astronaut Chris Cassidy on June 8, 2013 (12:55 pm). Astronaut Cassidy was orbiting 250 miles above Australia on the International Space Station. The event was made possible by the group known as Amateur Radio for the International Space Station (ARISS). Our "telebridge" conversation was relayed from an amateur ground station (VK4KHZ) operated by "ham" Mr. Shane (Bill) Lynd of Glenden, Queensland, Australia. The conversation was facilitated by Mr. Gene Chapline in Texas. The Camp's 16 women and 14 men submitted their questions about three weeks prior to the start of Camp in Tucson, AZ. The event was held in the auditorium (N210) of the Department of Astronomy on the campus of The University of Arizona.
