November 2012 was Dallin Wengert and Amy Mann's happiest time in their life. Little did they know about 6 months later things would take a big turn.
On November 24th, 2012 they were married. They both were going to school and Dallin as a pre-veterinarian. One late night on May 30th Amy was following Dallin to his work. He worked on a Utah State University farm and had to check a few things before heading home. They both were volunteering their time to help someone move. Dallin was turning left but for some reason did not leave enough time for the oncoming car. He was struck by an SUV going 60 mph. Amy witnessed the entire thing as she was in her car behind him. It took the medics 20 minutes to remove his body from the car. They rushed him to a local hospital in Logan, Utah where they quickly decided to air lift him to a larger hospital in Ogden, Utah, the McKay-Dee Hospital. He is in a coma as Amy and his entire family wait to see what damaged was caused.
Amy and Dallin have a long and unknown road ahead of them. For this reason family and friends and uniting to raise money to help Dallin's long-term recovery and other costs associated with the accident.
