The UNESCO/IOC CARIBE-EWS CARIBE WAVE 1.5 minute video was produced in 2022 in support of the annual regional tsunami exercise held every year in March. It is intended for a general audience to encourage participation in the exercise through different official and individual actions. Testing communications, conducting drills, reviewing evacuation maps and preparing emergency kits and response plans are some of the many ways one can take part in CARIBE WAVE. Through still photographs and videos it highlights the sudden onset and natural warning signs, official alerts, the importance of being Tsunami Ready, and the impacts of tsunamis in the Caribbean.
