This video is for those who have not been to Mt. Rainier's Camp Muir (10,188') but are contemplating a trip. On the descent at 8000', I taped the "slop running" as an example of the snowfield conditions to be found on a typical summer day; this was at 3 PM, and the snow gets sloppier as the day wears on. Be prepared for cold and wet conditions for your feet. I was wearing trail running shoes but also some waterproof socks and gaiters.
