“Drs. Dalene and Arne von Delft,” the second short film in the series Tuberculosis: Behind the Numbers commissioned by TAG and directed by Jonathan Smith, highlights a young, brave, South African doctor’s two-year battle with multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB), a form of tuberculosis (TB) resistant to two of the most powerful TB drugs, isoniazid and rifampicin.
