Artist Ceara Conway developed and presented a voice performance and sound installation for the first stage in Colm Cille's Spiral, for Derry~Londonderry City of Culture. Taking place in a curragh on the river Foyle, the work explored themes of exile and immigration, the lament and economic myths.
"I Was unexpectedly and profoundly moved by Colm Cille's Spiral . Something very special took place on that curragh."
"Time out to inspire the artist inside ..which is rare at the moment."
