LG Opimus G pro installation&Projection Mapping
An interactive video for a promotional facebook event was commissioned by LG electronics in 2012 for its smartphone, “G-pro.” The aim of the facebook event was for the new product to establish a memorable relationship with the consumers. For this, an interactive video gradually revealed the design of the phone as each “likes” removed one of many bubbles concealing the image. The event, which LG imagined would last three to four days, reached its intended participation in less than a day attracting 20,000 participants, revealing all of the hidden design and functional features. The interactive video was envisioned as an infotainment, allowing the participants to have a realistic experience by using projection mapping method.
