In the Spring of 2013, the Student Environmental Leadership Action Team and the Baltimore Office of Sustainability worked with New Lens Productions to create this video, which showcases just a few examples of youth environmentalism in Baltimore City. To create the video, New Lens interviewed "Green Teams" -- groups of students at city public schools that focus on environmental projects at their schools and in their communities.
Students interviewed were from the Academy for College and Career Exploration, Calvin Rodwell Elementary, Highlandtown Elementary/Middle #237, John Eager Howard Elementary, and Patterson Park Public Charter School. They represent all different corners of Baltimore City. A total of 90 Baltimore City public schools have formed Green Teams since 2009.
