Village Attorney Randy Marcus continues to propagate the misleading impression that just 10% of property owners have blocked the deer-killing program by denying consent for use of their land. There is discussion of the data on which this is based and how the owners of "approximately 90 parcels" were what stood in the way of the program moving forward. This data, which was kept secret from the public and only recently was released through a court order, proves that in fact the owners of 75% of all properties in the Village did not give permission for killing to take place on their land or near their homes.
